The DKF has provided these organizations with small grants this season (2026).  Check with your league or team representative and ask what DKF funds are available to help you in your situation.

The DKF Financial Assistance Application

We cannot guarantee assistance will be provided by registration-due date, but this will help us prioritize during busy season - please note that this date may not be further out than 45 days, and not sooner than 5 days.
Please note that we are a small non-profit and not equipped to help subsidize travel teams or for-profit organizations.
Please note that the family must contribute to the total registration cost.
If you are not sure how to answer this, please work with your league representative to learn more before proceeding.
Please note that we may not be able to help with the full amount, even if your request is approved.
This person can also be a school counselor or a teacher who knows your family.
Please make sure this person knows to look out for an email from us! We will need their reply to the application in order to move your application to the next steps.

Please understand that we need as much information as we can in order to help as many children as possible. We will not share your information outside of the Foundation and your answers will help the Foundation focus on where kids need the most help and also be used for statistical purposes in our fundraising efforts.
