Do you know someone who needs help?
Here’s how it works!
The Dave Krache Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose aim is to assist with financial fees related to metro Atlanta kids’ sports’ leagues and teams. We have helped kids participate in softball, baseball, football, basketball, lacrosse, martial arts, track, cycling, and more. The league/team does not necessarily have to be associated with the school.
Here’s how it works:
Anyone can initiate the request. Whether it’s someone who needs the help, or someone who knows a family in need, anyone can take Step 1:
The person initiating the request gets a copy of our Financial Assistance Request Application.
The parent or guardian of the child playing the sport, from the family that needs the financial assistance, fills out page 3.
Then, the parent/guardian gives that completed page 3 to the person who is “vouching” for them. This could be a teacher, counselor, social worker, pastor, or coach.
That individual then completes pages 1-2. After all fields are completed on all pages, the person who completed pages 1-2 scans in all 3 pages together and emails it to: firstname.lastname@example.org
The important thing to note is that all fields must be completed, and that pages 1-3 are required for each child. If a family has multiple children they need assistance with, they can fill out one version of page 3, but the person completing pages 1-2 needs to fill out as many pages as there are children.
It is important that no fields are left blank on the application.
All correspondence should be done via email with the person completing pages 1 and 2. The Foundation makes payments directly to the leagues/parks/teams – no individual or private business may receive payment from us.
The Dave Krache Foundation communicates with the league/park/team or social worker only. If you are a parent and have a question about the status of your request, please see the individual who helped you complete and submit the form.
